If you are curious why this website exists, let me take you into my thought process. I am going to use this website to delineate for myself a space where I can share my projects. It is going to be used as my sketchbook, my studio, my gallery, and my shop window.
In the sixteenth century people in Europe often had a Wunderkammer in their home, a cabinet of curiosities. This was a room full of useful and remarkable objects in which the family could display its thirst for knowledge. In a curiosity cabinet, there were books, skeletons, minerals, shells, art objects, planets, stones, and all kinds of exotic objects. We all have our treasured collections. They can be physical curiosity cabinets, like cabinets in the living room, filled with our favorite novels, CDs, and movies. But they can also be intangible museums of the heart, the memories of places we have been, the people we have met, things we have collected. These mental scrapbooks shape our taste, and our taste influences our work. This website will be used as my virtual Wunderkammer. Enjoy it.
